High-Speed Power Grip Clutch and brakes with Pneumatic and Hydraulic Actuation

High-Speed Power Grip Clutch and brakes with Pneumatic and Hydraulic Actuation

Extended Hub Teeth and Wave-Style Release Springs for Easy Maintenance.Pneumatic or Hydraulic Power Grip Clutch with Quick Response and Low Maintenance
The Power Grip Clutch is ideal for in-line and shaft-to-shaft power transmission applications handling large inertia loads. With options for pneumatic or hydraulic actuation, this clutch ensures quick response and controlled engagement. Features include extended hub teeth for easier serviceability, wave-style release springs, and quick-change driving adapters for versatile use. Available in high-speed configurations.

Overview of Power Grip Clutch Series

The Power Grip Clutch series is designed to assist in-line mounting for heavy-duty power transmission. When used in conjunction with either a quick change or standard driving adapter, the Power Grip Clutch is best suited as a coupling clutch for shaft-to-shaft applications. This innovative design incorporates a wave spring, which replaces traditional coil springs, requiring only one wave spring per plate versus several coil springs. The wave spring allows for simple assembly of the clutch on the shaft without the need for special tools used to retain obsolete coil springs.

The patented extended tooth hub for Power Grip Clutches greatly aids in reassembling the clutch while mounted on a shaft. The extended teeth ensure that all center and floating plates remain engaged on the hub teeth with the release springs in a relaxed state, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.

Actuation Method

The Power Grip Clutch series offers both hydraulic and pneumatic actuation methods, catering to various operational needs. The pneumatic clutch design features a large diaphragm that compensates for wear during the friction material's lifespan, eliminating the need for frequent adjustments.

Torque and Speed

This series covers a wide torque range from 630 Nm to 1,301,800 Nm, catering to various applications. The maximum speed capability is up to 360 rpm, suitable for high-speed operations.

Standard Sizes

The Power Grip Clutch series offers multiple standard sizes ranging from 8" to 60" in diameter. The PO Clutch variants range from 14" to 42" in diameter, ensuring compatibility with different equipment.

The Power Grip Clutch series, with its innovative design, superior performance, and wide application range, is the ideal choice for heavy-duty power transmission needs. Whether you need to replace an existing brand of clutches or find more efficient solutions, we offer high-quality products to meet your demands.
