The GALVI DIN Failsafe Shoe Brakes N(NV)...HYD...IS series are heavy-duty, failsafe shoe brakes designed according to DIN 15435 standards. These brakes are powered by HYDRO GALVI a.c. electrohydraulic Thrusters with integrated internal springs and a durable, corrosion-resistant finish. Ideal for industrial applications, these brakes offer a variety of optional enhancements like self-adjusting devices, wider brake shoes, and stainless steel components for improved reliability and longevity in demanding environments.

The GALVI DIN Failsafe Shoe Brakes N(NV)...HYD...IS series are designed to meet the DIN 15435 standard. These brakes are equipped with HYDRO GALVI a.c. electrohydraulic Thrusters (IP.65, Class F) that include non-adjustable internal springs and come without an externally adjustable main spring set.

Standard Features:

  • HYDRO GALVI a.c. electrohydraulic Thruster (HYD) with IP65 rating and Class F insulation.
  • Internal springs built into the HYDRO GALVI Thruster (IS).
  • Brake shoes made of aluminum per DIN 15435 standards, fitted with steel bushings (CD).
  • Asbestos-free linings with a theoretical friction coefficient of μ = 0.42 (42).
  • Galvanized pins and self-lubricating bushes on main pins for durability and corrosion resistance (AU).
  • Galvanized pins, tie rods, and smaller components (ZN).
  • Finished with epoxy antisalt paint in grey (RAL 7001) for enhanced corrosion protection.
  • Cast iron levers and base for robust construction.
